Get Ready for the 2027 Season
Registrations for the 2027 season are not open yet, but you can get prepared now by setting up your Rugby Xplorer profile.
Rugby Xplorer (RX) is the registration and competition management system used by East Coast Bays Junior Rugby. It allows you to register, manage your details and stay connected with your rugby community.
Parents and caregivers should create their own profile first and then add profiles for their children. This is a one-off process and will make registering each season much quicker and easier.
You will need access to your email address to create and verify your profile. Coaches and managers will also need their own Rugby Xplorer profiles and must register for their roles once registrations open.

Make sure names, dates of birth and contact details are correct.
Keep an eye on our website and social media pages—we will let you know when registrations officially open.
Please do not attempt to register with East Coast Bays Junior Rugby yet. The club registration link will be shared once 2027 registrations are open.

Registration and Weigh-In Days
All players must attend one of our in-person Registration and Weigh-In Days:
Tuesday 16 February 2027, 4:00–6:00pm
Thursday 18 February 2027, 4:00–6:00pm
Saturday 20 February 2027, 9:00am–12:00pm
Completing the online registration form does not confirm a player’s registration. All players, including returning players, must attend in person for weigh-in, uniform sizing and payment.
Registration Fees and Payment
Registration fees are:
One child: $160
Two children: $260
Three children: $360
Registration fees include the North Harbour Rugby player levy and development fund levy.
Payment can be made online, by EFTPOS at registration or in cash.

Please use the player’s full name as the payment reference so we can match the payment to their registration.
New Players
New players must:
Create a Rugby Xplorer profile.
Complete the East Coast Bays Junior Rugby online registration form once registrations open.
Attend one of our Registration and Weigh-In Days.
Bring proof of the player’s date of birth, such as a passport or birth certificate.
Please make sure all information entered in Rugby Xplorer—particularly the player’s full name and date of birth—is correct.
Team Allocation
Players are allocated to the appropriate grade based on the applicable North Harbour Rugby age and weight requirements. It is important that each player’s date of birth is entered correctly during registration.
You may include friend, coach or team-placement requests when registering. We will consider all requests wherever possible, but placement cannot be guaranteed.
East Coast Bays Junior Rugby reserves the right to allocate or reallocate players where necessary to:
Meet player-safety requirements.
Balance team numbers.
Create fair and appropriate teams.
Meet competition and grade requirements.
We appreciate your patience while teams are being formed. Any concerns can be discussed with the relevant Grade Coordinator or Junior Club Captain after the initial team allocations have been released.
Playing Gear
Players must wear:
Official ECB rugby shorts.
Official ECB green and black rugby socks.
The team jersey supplied by the Club.
Shorts, socks and other ECB gear will be available to purchase during the Registration and Weigh-In Days. Further information about purchasing gear during the season will be provided before registrations open.
Players will also need suitable rugby boots and a correctly fitted mouthguard where required for their grade.
Boot Exchange
Our Boot Exchange helps players access good-quality second-hand rugby boots and has been very popular with families.
Our current supply is running low, so donations of clean, usable rugby boots would be greatly appreciated. Please visit the Boot Exchange page for information about donating boots or finding a suitable pair.
